Stay Awhile is a hand-bound artist book of forty-eight pages built around windows — ordinary objects that stand in for looking outward across many locations and spans of time. Image and text work in parallel, describing migration in fragments and diary-like traces, but the figure shifts across age, social position, and gender, refusing to cohere into a single migratory identity. Working with migration is not about portraying or representing a community. It is to insist on the impossibility of representation itself.
